Today we started recruiting for our second generation of talent.
In just two years, we have built an exceptional team, a unique product and a proven method that is helping Mexico's leading companies solve their most complex operational challenges using their data and the best AI models.
Arkham is one of the fastest growing business software companies in LATAM — possibly the fastest growing in history. More importantly, CTOs and CEOs of key companies for the Mexican economy trust our team and our platform to build the Data and Artificial Intelligence database for their operations.
If you're a born builder looking for the most meaningful work of your life, keep reading. This blog is written to share our culture: why we exist, how we build and what we do. If we were in your shoes, these would be some of the questions we would like to answer.
Let's go there.
What is Arkham's building philosophy?
There are two archetypes of company building that inspire us. We admire mission-driven companies, such as Palantir, SpaceX and Nubank. At the same time, we are inspired by iconic leaders who built incredibly profitable conglomerates — such as Amancio Ortega, Lorenzo Mendoza and Carlos Slim.
We are also very clear about what we don't want: We get rid of the noise and pretense that abounds in the tech world. We have experienced first-hand how bad investors can negatively influence CEOs and profoundly damage a company's culture. And we are frustrated by the lack of profitability in the SaaS industry.
We're building Arkham with absolute clarity: this is what we want to do for the rest of our lives. We want to create an organization that stands the test of time through an exceptional product and a profitable operation. We want to be the first choice for technical talent in the region. We want Arkham to be recognized as the catalyst for truly transformative AI adoption in companies.
What is the way to work at Arkham?
Our work style is simple: we hire exceptional people who truly believe in our mission, act as true owners of the company and execute with energy, intelligence and excellence.
We are hybrids by design. During quarterly planning, we meet daily in the office for 2 or 3 weeks. Once we are aligned, everyone has the autonomy to deliver results independently, deciding for themselves if they need face-to-face meetings or sessions with clients.
Our operations are austere and focused on the work itself. We rarely organize events outside the office, intentionally avoid unnecessary meetings, and don't use titles.

What is our vision?
We believe that soon a powerful intelligence center will operate at the heart of every company. We imagine a system that works as a digital representation of the entire business—where data, business logic and AI models manage both complex and routine tasks. This can mean anticipating demand and optimizing inventories for retailers, or detecting anomalies and scheduling maintenance at energy companies.
We also believe that this system will be developed by the real builders within each organization: software engineers, data analysts and business teams. But achieving this vision is not easy. Integrating data, training models and deploying them requires fragmented tools and highly specialized roles, making the most powerful AI solutions unattainable for many of the companies we care about.
Our first product, the Arkham Data and Artificial Intelligence Platform, solves these challenges and represents the first step toward that vision.
What motivated us to take on this challenge?
There is something very stimulating in our vision. The idea of bringing intelligence and autonomy to business operations really excites us.
Part of this comes from our personal experience. We have experienced firsthand how fragmented systems hold back companies, and we have been frustrated by existing solutions. Arkham had to exist.
But most important is the value we deliver to our customers: we help them solve complex operational problems quickly, saving them millions and years of internal development.
What problems do you help our customers solve?
We help medium and large companies such as Circle K, Energía Real and Televisa Editorial to unify fragmented systems and data to solve complex operational challenges.
Current use cases include:
- Centralizing and migrating data to the Arkham Data Lakehouse.
- Development of a Business Ontology: a single source of truth that includes a Semantic Layer (standard business definitions) and a Metrics Warehouse (standardized operational metrics), creating a digital representation of business operations.
- Simplified access to business insights through natural language-driven analytics.
- Automation of complex processes using Generative AI or traditional business logic.
- Establish stronger operational controls and improve decision-making with customized Machine Learning models. Arkham provides ready-to-use ML classes — from anomaly detection to forecasting — and a full suite of applications for model training, deployment and monitoring.
In addition, our entire platform is powered by our highly capable and model-agnostic Generative AI assistant, making it accessible to both technical and non-technical users.

Who are our customers? Are they focused on Mexico?
We partner with CEOs and CTOs who really want to win and understand that we are in a major paradigm shift. They come to us with specific challenges, and we work closely with their teams to solve them.
Our customers are often mature companies with established ERPs, CRMs and data warehouses. Its maturity allows for productive conversations about how Arkham fits into its technology stack, solves its core challenges and empowers its builders.
Our current objective is clear: to become the preferred partner of CTOs in Mexico. But make no mistake, Arkham is the technological version of filmmaker Robert Rodríguez — who started with his first film El Mariachi, and then conquered the world. If you don't know the reference, search for it.
Why do customers choose us?
Arkham provides builders at the core of our clients' operations with the tools needed to execute the entire lifecycle of high-impact Data and AI initiatives—truly saving them years of development.
To achieve this, Arkham is based on three fundamental pillars:
- Exceptional product, focused on accessibility and ease of use: Arkham offers customers a fully managed infrastructure, a Data Platform and an AI Platform — all seamlessly integrated.
- Proven methodology: this is possibly our biggest differentiator. Our implementation approach is directly embedded in the product experience. As we mentioned, developing the Customer Ontology — a digital representation of their business operations — is the fundamental step in our methodology, since it serves as the basis for all AI initiatives.
- Extreme customer obsession and unmatched service: we work closely with our clients, making sure to solve their core challenges and supporting them step by step in the adoption of our platform. We're a message away from Slack or Teams — every day of the week.

How do we work with our customers?
We distribute Arkham through two models: Deployed Teams and Self-Implementation.
Deployed Teams: Our team leads the implementation of the platform and solves the customer's first use case. This is our main growth channel, because it allows us to build deep and strategic relationships with each organization. Once the first cases are in production, we train the client's builders to develop new Arkham solutions themselves.
Self-implementation: This model is our North Star. We envision a future in which builders with basic knowledge of SQL and system integration can create advanced Data and AI solutions on Arkham. Its simplicity, clear documentation and solid support will make this a reality. We currently have three companies working with this model and we plan to release it publicly at the end of the second quarter.
How is your team made up today and what profiles are they looking for?
Our team includes leaders with backgrounds in physics, mathematics, data science and, of course, software engineering.
The main profiles we are looking for are grouped into four key categories: Software Engineering, Data Science, Design and Marketing.

What benefits do they offer?
The talent that joins Arkham isn't just employees: they become partners in our business.
We offer highly competitive financial compensation accompanied by an excellent package of actions. Our commitment is for founding members and early talent to achieve total financial freedom within 5 to 7 years.
In addition to salary and shareholding, we also provide excellent insurance for medical expenses and other essential benefits.
How much capital have they raised? How much runway do they have left?
We have raised $4.5 million. We are currently a team of 20 people and we have more than two years of runway starting in March 2025.
Profitability is a beautiful word.
Any final thoughts?
We are a software company based primarily in Mexico City, and today we are beating global technology giants.
We don't fit the mold.
The thrill of beating the odds, solving extremely complex problems, building incredible software and doing everything in an extremely efficient way... makes my heart beat as I write these words. Join us and let's win together.
