About us.
By the winter of 2022, Hec and I knew that we were about to embark on a lifelong mission.
We're building Arkham to stand the test of time. We want to be the place where the most dedicated builders — software engineers, data scientists and designers — come together to create exceptional Data and AI products that transform our customers' operations.
If you're looking for your next challenge and our mission resonates with you, contact us. We are building an incredible team.
Our initial motivation.
After working in corporate and high-growth startups, we realized that the true value of AI was not in isolated models or vertical applications. The real opportunity was to build Unified Data Systems and Artificial Intelligence at the core of each company.
Maybe it was because we had seen too much inefficiency in the companies where we work. Maybe it was because we're attracted to difficult problems. But from day one, Hec and I imagined a system that would drive decisions, automate processes and optimize operations for any company — think TARS, Jarvis or Skynet (but on the bright side).
But achieving that vision was not easy. Fragmented systems, isolated data, and complex AI tools made even the most basic AI solutions unattainable for most companies. From our perspective, only Palantir and Databricks were tackling the challenge of integrating Data and AI from the right angle. But they did it for large corporations and highly specialized roles.
We set out to change that. We envision a future where truly transformative AI is accessible. Where companies from Mexico, the United States and Latin America could achieve extreme levels of efficiency and intelligence with their own customized Data and AI systems.
Two years later, we are on track to realize that vision. We've assembled a team of relentless builders and developed an exceptional product that powers the operations of companies like Circle K, MIP and Televisa Editorial. Our Data and AI Platform empowers the builders who are at the center of these operations to unify their company's data and take advantage of the best Machine Learning and Generative AI models to solve their most complex operational challenges.
Part 1: The Problem We Solve.
Builders shape the future, not AI. But they need the right tools.
Our customers represent the backbone of the economy. They operate in sectors such as retail, infrastructure, health and credit. And while they hear every day about the next promise of AI — a new chatbot or automation tool — the reality is that they face much more fundamental challenges.
Builders—software engineers, data analysts, and business teams, who are at the center of our clients' operations—aren't limited by a lack of AI tools. They are limited by fragmented systems and isolated data, leading to operational inefficiencies: manual processes, limited cost control, and lack of real-time insights.
And when they're looking for solutions, they're faced with an even bigger challenge: an incredibly complex Data and AI industry. The diagram below illustrates this reality: a fragmented ecosystem of specialized tools designed for highly technical roles. This keeps AI-based transformation out of the reach of companies that don't have strong Engineering and Data Science teams.

For most of our clients, solving their challenges would have required on average five different tools—from data ingestion to model training and inference—and at least three specialized roles.
Faced with these obstacles, it's no surprise that so few companies have adopted AI at the core of their operations—save for Microsoft Copilot.
Part 2: Our Solution.
First the data, then the AI.
This is precisely the problem we are solving. Our platform eliminates all this complexity by integrating the key tools that builders need to unify data, train and deploy Machine Learning models, and implement solutions powered by Generative AI. All in a single suite of seamlessly integrated applications.

With Arkham, builders can develop Data and Artificial Intelligence systems from end to end, without the burden of having to bring together multiple specialized roles. Our platform provides a solid, scalable foundation that allows companies to focus on solving problems, not managing infrastructure.
Arkham is built on three fundamental pillars:
- A robust and managed infrastructure layer It automatically provides compute, storage and network — driving the entire Data and AI lifecycle, from data integration and transformation to model training and inference.
- A highly scalable data platform At Arkham, we build Lakehouses. The core of our product offers a dedicated Lakehouse for each customer. Our platform incorporates industry best practices to ensure scalability and efficiency across the entire data lifecycle. Thanks to its intuitive applications, it is accessible to builders with all levels of experience.
- An AI platform with Machine Learning and Generative AI capabilities
- On the Machine Learning front, we enable AutoML techniques along with traditional training capabilities. Builders can take advantage of more than 10 types of models to solve problems such as forecasting and anomaly detection. At the core of our framework, we integrate versioning, monitoring and a fluid deployment of these models.
- Generative AI is embedded at the heart of our platform. Every Arkham application is powered by model experts who accompany builders throughout their Data and AI journey, and equip business teams with the tools they need to fully solve their challenges. These range from AI-powered analytics to workflow automation, alerts and search tools.
The diagram below is an example of our platform in action for a solar energy operator. With Arkham, the technical team can integrate data from investors and loggers, detect anomalies in real time and simplify asset management processes. All of this, powered by a single unified platform, without the need for specialized tools or roles.

For us, Arkham is more than just a product. We have developed a methodology designed to help our clients build robust and scalable solutions that grow with them over time. Whether your transactional systems change, you acquire a competitor, or adopt a vertical AI solution, our Data and AI Framework is designed to last and evolve.
In the diagram above, you'll see three key elements: Ontology, Semantic Layer, and Metrics Store. These Arkham applications drive our framework, which follows the following fundamental steps:
- Unify data following the medallion architecture, allowing the Lakehouse to scale.
- Build a Semantic Layer — Define gold datasets as business objects that faithfully represent your company's operations.
- Standardize the metrics that define performance and decision-making across your operations.
- Define actions that these objects and metrics can trigger — such as write-backs after running an ML model or automated email alerts based on predefined rules.
The result of this framework is your company's Ontology: a digital representation of your operations that provides a reliable basis for implementing AI solutions at scale. Ontology allows builders to create a unified system where you have full visibility and control over your data, ensuring that every AI-driven insight, workflow or optimization is built on a single source of truth. This is the foundation for a truly scalable, AI-driven operation.

Part 3: What's Next. Our vision and our company.
Contrary to the current narrative, we see a bright future for builders — especially for software engineers. They are in the best position to expand their capabilities beyond application development and take responsibility for end-to-end Data and AI systems that will shape the future of their companies.
We believe that a company's true competitive advantage will depend on how well this system is integrated into each of its functions. Companies that manage to effectively leverage their data and configure AI models to enhance their strongest capabilities will be the big winners.
At Arkham, our mission is to make this a reality — to empower every builder across America with powerful and intuitive Data and AI tools that help their companies achieve their full potential.
Because builders shape the future, not AI.

(*) Ontology is not a new concept. It has been used in multiple technological domains and adopted by companies such as Palantir. We believe it's the key to building robust Data and AI systems.
